Hardscape & Pavers,
built to outlast
trends.
Complete backyard transformations, native planting, drought-tolerant groundcover, custom hardscape, and drip irrigation designed for Southern California’s climate.

The best Los Angeles landscapes don’t look landscaped. They look deliberate, like the plants, stone, and structure were always meant to be there. That’s what we build: complete outdoor transformations where every element, from the first dig to the final plant, is planned and executed by the same crew.
We handle everything in-house: grading and drainage, hardscape (concrete, pavers, decomposed granite), planting design with California natives and Mediterranean species, turf removal and alternative groundcovers, and drip irrigation with smart controllers. No subcontracting the hard parts.
What sets our hardscape apart.
01All trades in-house
Grading, hardscape, irrigation, and planting are all performed by our own crews, no coordination gaps, no finger-pointing when grades don’t match up.
02Drainage-first design
We establish positive drainage and code-compliant runoff management before any hardscape is set or plants go in, the foundation of a landscape that lasts.
03California-native palettes
We specialize in drought-tolerant design using California natives, Mediterranean species, and low-water groundcovers appropriate for LA’s water restrictions and climate.
04Smart irrigation included
Every planting area gets a drip or micro-spray system on a smart controller with rain and soil sensors, sized zone by zone for plant water requirements.

Every landscape remodel begins with drainage and grade. Poor drainage is the most common reason landscapes fail, plants drown, hardscape settles, and water migrates into structures. We establish positive drainage first, then build from the ground up: base compaction, hardscape installation, irrigation rough-in, and finally planting.
Plant selection is site-specific. We evaluate sun exposure, soil type, and water availability before specifying a palette, choosing species that thrive with minimal supplemental water once established.
How a paver job gets done.
01Site Assessment & Design
We evaluate drainage, soil, sun exposure, and existing hardscape. A scaled layout is drawn covering all elements, grades, planting zones, hardscape footprints, and irrigation mains.
02Demo & Grading
Existing lawn, concrete, and failing hardscape is removed. Grade is established to drain away from structures with a minimum 2% slope; dry wells or French drains added where required.
03Hardscape & Irrigation
Pathways, patios, borders, and retaining elements are built. Irrigation main lines and valve manifolds are installed in the hardscape phase before soil prep begins.
04Planting & Finish
Soil amendment, planting, mulch, and drip line installation complete the project. Smart controller is programmed by zone; a 30-day establishment check is included.
Set in base. Built to last.

Materials & applications.
Turf removal & alternatives
We remove existing lawn (sod cut, soil prep, haul-off) and replace with drought-tolerant alternatives: decomposed granite, groundcover planting, artificial turf, or a combination. LA DWP turf-removal rebates are available, we’ll document the square footage for your rebate application.
Planting design & installation
We design planting plans using California natives (ceanothus, salvia, manzanita, CA poppy), Mediterranean species (lavender, rosemary, olive), and ornamental grasses. Every plan accounts for mature size, water zone, and seasonal interest.
Drip & micro-spray irrigation
All planting areas receive a drip or micro-spray system sized by plant type and sun zone. Smart controllers with EPA WaterSense certification reduce water use 30–50% vs. clock-based timers.
Hardscape: paths, patios & borders
Concrete, natural stone, decomposed granite, and paver borders define beds and circulation paths. All hardscape is sloped to drain and set on compacted base for permanence.
Drainage & grading
Positive drainage is established across the entire site. French drains, dry creek beds, catch basins, and regrading eliminate standing water and route runoff to the street or a designated dry well.
Stone, set
to last forever.
From a simple lawn replacement to a complete backyard transformation with new hardscape, planting, and irrigation, we design and build landscapes that work for Southern California’s climate.
